Årtiets Spil

D. 7. december går det løs. Samuel L. Jackson går på scenen og er vært ved dette års Spike TV's VGA (Video Game Awards), men i år er det noget helt særligt: Det er faktisk 10. gang, at VGA bliver afholdt. For at fejre denne begivenhed, har EW (Entertainment Weekly) gået sammen med Spike og har udvalgt ikke mindre end 10 spil, som tilsammen udgør kategorien: Årtiets Spil.

Årtiets Spil er en ærefuld pris ulig nogen anden, og de 10 nominerede er således udvalgt, idet de alle siges at have været med til at konstant udvikle samt skubbe industrien frem. Nedenfor kan I se en liste over de nominerede, men de store spørgsmål er så nu: Er I enige i udvælgelsen, og hvilket spil bør i så fald vinde? On December 7, Samuel L. Jackson will go on stage and host this year's Spike TV's VGA (Video Game Awards), but this is not just another year for the show. This is actually their 10 year anniversary! To celebrate this Entertainment Weekly has joined forces with Spike TV and found 10 games that together make a very special category: Game of the Decade.

Game of the Decade is an honourable award like nothing else, and the 10 nominated games have been selected due to their role in constantly pushing the industry further. Below is a list of the nominees but the major questions are now: do you agree with their selection, and what game should win? Check if your favourite game made it to the list, and of course you can go to their website and vote today!

Så er Spike TV atter rede til at afsløre de nominerede til dette års Video Game Awards, som vil blive afholdt engang senere på året. Inde på hjemmesiden kan man lige nu se og stemme på de nominerede, og jeg er sikker på, at nogle af de nominerede vil forbavse jer. I hovedkategorien, Årets Spil, har vi ingen ringere end Assassin's Creed III, Mass Effect 3, Journey, Dishonored og The Walking Dead: The Game. Personligt stemte jeg på Journey, da jeg mener, at det spil ganske enkelt er det mest fremragende og nyskabende af de nominerede. Men det er jo blot min stemme, så skynd jer ind på Spike TV og stem allerede i dag!

Spike TV is once again ready to reveal the nominees for this year's Video Game Awards which will be held sometime later this Fall. You can check out and vote for your favourite game right now on the official website and I'm sure that some of the nominated games will amaze you. In the main category, for example, we find none other than Assassin's Creed III, Mass Effect 3, Journey, Dishonored and The Walking Dead: The Game. Personally I voted for Journey because I believe that it's the most innovative and excellent of the nominees but that's only my vote so head on over to the website and let your voice be heard!
