Cevat Yerli, CEO hos Crytek, siger, at "To be fair, the way we're developing Homefront 2 is very isolated
anyway. We're treating it as our own new IP and at the same time THQ is
respecting us and saying, 'you guys know what you're doing' and telling
us the story they'd like to have, which we're collaborating creatively
on."
English version:
THQ is in a lot of trouble these days. Mass firings of staff and a president who just signed off. It's so bad that they didn't have a booth at this year's E3 and won't have one at Gamescom, but what does it all mean when it comes to their games? Well, it doesn't look that grim for Homefront 2, which had its development moved from Kaos Studios to Crytek's Nottingham Studio (the former Free Radical Design).
Cevat Yerli, CEO at Crytek, said that "To be fair, the way we're developing Homefront 2 is very isolated
anyway. We're treating it as our own new IP and at the same time THQ is
respecting us and saying, 'you guys know what you're doing' and telling
us the story they'd like to have, which we're collaborating creatively
on." THQ, it seems, will not be interfering much in the game's development, and that is most likely for the best. The publisher spent a lot of energy, effort and money in promoting the original Homefront and to sell it as the new Call of Duty, but the game didn't manage to deliver on the hype and Kaos Studios was closed only a few months after release.
Now that Homefront 2 has come under the care at Crytek it is likely that the game will become a success, and that's something THQ desperately needs these days. The best thing they can do right now is to give Crytek the means and tools to make Homefront 2 an unforgettable experience.
For centuries we have watched and waited for the world of gaming to emerge. In Adventures.. Vigilance. In Shooters.. Victory. In RPGs.. Sacrifice. This is what it means to be a Game Warden.

"For Timesplitters 4, with ever spiralling development costs, massive teams and endless crunch we decided on a more radical development strategy. In short, the experiment was to implement the infinite monkey theorem. With cloning being a far too expensive option, we spent all of the development budget on buying monkeys on the black market. Those seven monkeys are now sat in a room with typewriters and lots of mirrors, and we fully expect Timesplitters 4 to be finished soon. Rumours are that they haven't written any code but just tease the press from time to time. Those damn monkeys. PS: anyone got any bananas?"
English version:
Timesplitters 4 will not be coming to a console near you. That is the message from developer Crytek UK, who was known as Free Radical before Crytek acquired the studio. It has been rumored for a long time that the game was indeed in development, and it's hard not to understand why there would be rumors. The studio confirmed the game back in 2007 and even released concept art but now they are able to say that the game isn't coming. And they do so in a very entertaining way as you can see in the statement above.

Crysis 3 Official Trailer
Cryteks Director of Creative Development, Rasmus Højengaard, sagde i et interview med Destructoid, at "I don’t think it’s going to be possible. it’s not in the cards to do a Wii U version."
English version:
Crytek, the developer behind the successful destroyer of all PCs, Crysis, is now ready to reveal the latest entry in the trilogy, Crysis 3. Electronic Arts has released the official announcement trailer for the game and it looks stunning. The audio-visuals are on the highest note and the gameplay looks intense and extreme. The trailer gives an impression of the storyline and some of the enemies and weapons that we'll be handling in the coming game.
But there is also some bad news: Crytek's Director of Creative Development, Rasmus Hojengaard, said in an interview with Destructoid that the game will not be released on the coming Wii-U. "I don’t think it’s going to be possible. it’s not in the cards to do a Wii U version." Despite Nintendo finally making a powerful console it doesn't seem to be quite enough to house the awesome CryEngine 3. You can see why in the trailer above!
