David Payne beskriver således sig selv på LinkedIn, at han er "Lead Prop & Weapon Artist, Saints Row 4 - Volition, Inc.", og Danny Bilson fra THQ sagde allerede inden udgivelsen af Saints Row: The Third, at "I already know what Saints Row 4 is about, and it is wilder than this one, It's a good example of how you take what you have and you say, 'What can happen in the next?'"

Det bliver ikke meget mere tydeligt, og hvorfor skulle THQ og Volition Inc. ikke udvikle flere spil i den succesfulde serie? Saints Row is the most successful IP in the house of THQ, and I wouldn't be surprised if they turned it into an even bigger franchise with several more games in the future. In which case I won't complain!
